My experience with this law office was very disappointing. Based on MY conversations with my attorney, Eric Kirkpatrick, I understood that I would receive a specific amount as my take-home settlement after all fees and expenses. I accepted the settlement based on that understanding. When I went to pick up my settlement check, the amount I received was significantly LESS than what I believed we had discussed. When I asked about the difference, I was told that I had never been promised a specific take-home amount. That response was completely different from what I remember being told during our conversations. I understand that attorney fees and case expenses are part of the settlement process, but I felt misled because my understanding of what I would actually receive changed after I had already agreed to settle. This experience left me feeling that communication was unclear and being told that a conversation never happened is concerning and left me very misled!!
